I am Scott.
I am an American living in New York City. My heritage is 1/4 English, 1/4 Swedish, Dutch and 1/4 French. In August of 2007 I married my wife Åsa who runs a cool little shop Asaofstockholm.
For the last 12 years I have been involved with digital media, advertising and web development. I just joined Profero as the founding Creative Director to help them launch their New York office. (You can view my complete professional profile here.)
In my spare time I take lots of photos and find every excuse I can to gain new perspectives, usually through travel.
People often ask me about my name Scott ‘Ex’ Rodgers. The ‘ex’ is my full middle name and I got it from my French Candadian great-great-great grandfather whose name was Excersies Rodier. He and his brother made hand made violins in Canada in the early 19oo’s. When he moved to the US he Americanised his last name Rodier to Rodgers (which explains the ‘d’ in Rodgers). No one could pronounce his real name excerises so he acquired the nickname ‘Ex’.
